The Photographs
Twenty-one photographs, including the car out on vintage rallies across Europe where its current owner has been using it.
Worth Knowing
The car was imported into the Netherlands in 2005 as a dismantled restoration project, arriving with the chassis, braking system and suspension already restored.
The current owner then sourced a bespoke aluminium XK120 body in Switzerland, expertly modelled after the Jaguar racing bodies of the 1950s, and had it custom-fitted to the restored XK150 chassis. What followed was a no-expense-spared transformation to period-correct racing specification.
It is not a garage ornament: the current owner and his wife have used it on vintage rallies across Europe, which is where several of the photographs were taken.
There is no convertible top. Weather protection is a custom tonneau cover and the twin Brooklands aeroscreens.
